Pre-Shipment Inspection

PCA’s pre-shipment inspection provides an independent assessment of finished products before shipment. It is typically carried out when production is substantially completed and the goods are ready, or close to ready, for shipment.

Depending on the agreed inspection scope, our inspector may check product appearance and workmanship, function, quantity, dimensions or weight, packaging, labels, markings and conformity with approved samples or product specifications. Random sampling may be conducted according to an agreed AQL and sampling plan, or based on client-defined requirements.

Inspection findings and supporting photographs are summarized in a written report to support the client’s decision on shipment release, corrective action or re-inspection.
